Build the evidence chain

  1. 1. Describe the business in one paragraph

What is sold, to whom, where work occurs, which resources are used, and how the activity connects to Armenia.

  2. 2. Show authority to operate

Provide the current registration extract, corporate records, and the applicant’s authority. A participant and a manager may require different evidence.

  3. 3. Prove transactions

Contracts, orders, specifications, invoices, acceptance records, correspondence, and deliverables should demonstrate performance.

  4. 4. Connect money and accounting

Bank entries, payment references, tax documents, and filings should explain the same counterparties and periods.

  5. 5. Explain exceptions before filing

A new business, seasonality, cash, delayed payment, or foreign clients can be genuine facts; document and explain them.

03

Practical document set

  • registration extract and authority documents
  • contracts with clear subject, parties, term, and price
  • orders, specifications, acts, invoices, deliverables, or other performance evidence
  • bank statements and lawful cash-settlement records where relevant
  • tax returns and receipts, or an explanation where the first deadline has not arrived
  • employees, premises, equipment, licence, or website evidence only where genuinely relevant
  • translations and representative power of attorney where required
04

Three situations

New sole proprietor before the first quarter closes

Provides registration, contracts, correspondence, work started, first costs or receipts, and the tax calendar. A return not yet due is explained rather than imitated.

Remote services to foreign clients

Contracts, tasks, deliverables, messages, invoices, and bank receipts should align by counterparty and period, with a clear account of activity carried on from Armenia.

LLC participant while another person manages

A shareholding alone may say little about personal business activity. Show the applicant’s role, authority, operational participation, and relationship to income; the conclusion is fact-specific.

05

Before submission

Reconcile spelling, passport, address, phone, registration dates, and company data across the file. Amounts in contracts, acts, bank records, and tax reporting should align or have a documented explanation.

Arrange the pack chronologically and add a concise cover explanation. Avoid marketing material and random screenshots; every item should prove a stated fact.

06

Extension is a fresh control point

A temporary card is valid up to one year, and the official page says to apply for extension at least 30 days before expiry. Preserve evidence throughout the year, not in the final week.

Review activity changes, dormant periods, tax debt, and inconsistencies with the earlier application. Prior approval is not a guarantee of extension.

07

Common mistakes

  • assuming a registration extract is enough
  • submitting contracts without performance or settlement
  • showing turnover that conflicts with bank or tax records
  • claiming a company role without authority documents
  • confusing temporary and permanent residence files
  • leaving extension to the last moment
  • buying a “guaranteed permit” instead of testing the facts
